On Saturday, October 29, the NCHS Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams competed in the Class 3A State Cross Country Championships. For the first time the Championship was held at Rim Rock Farms in Lawrence. Both teams had very good days, with the Girls capturing 2nd place and the Boys finishing in 4th. Individual medalists for the Jays were Katelyn Engelbert (9th), Sierra Griffith (15th), and Julia Kent (19th). Congratulations to both teams on an outstanding season!
