This course, like Journalism III (N) is a production oriented course leading to the publication of the school’s yearbook, the BLUEJAY.  Student responsibilities begin prior to the school year with preliminary planning with the adviser, the organization and initiation of the advertising sales campaign, the subscription sales campaign prior to the opening of school in the fall, and the distribution of the previous year books.  During the coming two semesters, students will gather information, write and edit copy, write headlines and design graphics using Photoshop, PageMaker and various word processing programs.  Members of the yearbook staff with compete in the KSPA Regional Contests at FHSU in February.  Registration for the course is obtained only by completing an application form and receiving permission to register from the instructor.
