Family and Social Issues
A two semester, 1 credit course; open to juniors, and seniors that counts as a social studies elective. This course enables the student to examine the roles they will assume as adults, how they can function in these roles, and some of the skills needed to fulfill future roles. Areas to be covered include: Family Relations, Parenting, Home Management, Consumer Education, Housing, Nutrition, and Careers.
