Woods
An introduction and study of the basic materials, hand tools and process of wood related areas. Emphasis is placed upon organization, manipulative skill and safety in the woodworking shop. Students must pass a safety exam and provide their own safety glasses before use of power machinery is granted.
Advanced Woods
Prerequisite: Woods I. Advanced work in the areas of wook materials, tools, and processes. Individual and specialized problems in design, materials, and fabrication as related to the total industrial program. Students must provide their own safety glasses to wear during the class.
