Algebra Concepts
Two semesters, one unit of credit. This course fulfills the Algebra graduation requirements as set USD 211 Board of Education and by the Kansas State Department of Education. This course does not meet the requirements as set by the the Kansas Board of Regent. The course uses examples of algebra in the world around us. You'll develop your program solving skills as you learn new math concepts. The Concepts and Skills program seeks to meet the needs of a ll learning levels by providing an accessible approach that helps prepare the student for success in Algebra. Exercises reinforce concepts building a solid foundation in Algebra. No prerequisite.

Health and Physical Education
No prerequisites. Physical Education is a two semester course offering 1/2 unit of credit per semester. The course is primarily based on various seasonal physical activities. Units involved are such games and activities as badminton, volleyball, softball, golf, tennis, bowling, basketball, soccer, etc. The course is developed around the activity need of the non-athlete student. It is intended that the student will improve his/her physical abilities in the various activities and student evaluation will be based on individual improvement and participation in these activities, as well as the ability to get along with other students involved. Health will be offered during the third nine weeks and will cover such topics as nutrition, diet, exercise, alcohol, drugs, and first aid.
