Algebra II - Pre-requisite: Algebra I and Geometry.
Two semesters, one credit. Algebra II is an indepth extension of the topics of Algebra I plus a study of quadratic relations, exponential functions and logarithms, and an introduction to probability sequences, and matrices. Algebra II should be taken by any student planning to take chemistry and any student planning to go to college.

Advanced Math - Pre-requisite: Algebra II.
Two semesters, one unit of credit. This course covers trigonometry, regression, vectors, polar coordinates, combinations, probability, statistics and data analsis. It should be taken by any student who plans to take calculus. Text used: Advanced Mathematical Concepts by Glencoe.

Calculus - Pre-requisite: Advanced Math or a required concurrent enfollment in Advanced Math.
Calculus is a course designed to teach an intuitive understanding of the concepts of calculus and to offer the experience of its methods and application. Any student desiring to major in science, business, engineering, mathematics or related fields will find this course an excellent preparation. Topics covered are those typical of most University Calculus I courses.
